The good news is that the BBC, Sky and BT are falling over themselves to employ a bunch of litigious and chippy wrong-uns.

Nothing could go wrong there at all.

Don’t think Sky or the BBC would admit even if the viewing figures were shit. All this hype over certain women’s sports is here to stay even if companies are losing millions promoting it.

I saw the Chelsea manager on Sky Sports recently. Is it Trans?

PS, I'm not referring to Frank.

I see that Alisha Lehmann is no longer a dyke and is getting seen to by Douglas Luiz.

Record viewing figures for women's sport in first three months of 2022 as over 15m WERE TRICKED TO tune in, more like.

They were talking about Arsenal being 2-0 up the North London derby last night on the radio. I was surprised as I hadn't realised that they were playing last night but it seemed plausible, so I was buoyed by the thought of Spurs missing out on top four... no mention that it was the W SUPER L....

Re: Splitarse football
Exactly. TBH I wouldn't be surprised if the league as it is folds or just goes down to 6 teams and a bunch of the other teams decide it's just not financially worth trying to compete and cease their women's teams altogether.

Re: Splitarse football
You can clearly see that the familiar big six are being established in the women’s league. Man Utd and Spurs were late to the show, and now Liverpool are back. Referees are as biased towards these teams as in the men’s league. The sponsors want the big names that they can market around the world.

Re: Splitarse football
It is a bit silly overhyping it like that.

Also they really need to get a grip with how the game is administered. The quality of teams in the top division is so lopsided with about 3 teams easily able to wallop any of the others by 6 or 7 goals routinely and the rest just there to make up the numbers. They should put in some steps to try and enforce some parity otherwise it's pretty pointless following any side apart from man city, arsenal or chelsea.

Re: Splitarse football
I think it’s great that the game is developing and getting better tbh, but personally also think it should happen more organically.

There is a difference between promoting it and giving people a chance to watch it and that of ridiculous levels of over-hype.

The two people watching this on the BBC missed a great CL match.

One of the Man City women's team , posting how hugely disappointing it is that fans will have to chose between the two City games.
